“I have placed a fair amount of stress on these shells during consistent training, short races, rough seas, and long distance events. Other than needing to replace worn seat rails due to salt water…Jim Dreher at Durham boat just had me replace the hardware (collar, buttons, etc) on my oars due to wear, but I've never made any change to the ECHO rigger, oar lock, or hinge in a combined 11 or 12 years of rowing the two boats.
